Xavier Rudd — who released “Koonyum Sun” in May as XAVIER RUDD and IZANTABA — had a nice conversation with Bang Your Head!(lines) a week before he’s set to take the stage with RODRIGO Y GABRIELA at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
A consummate gentleman, a naturist (not in the naked way; in the low-carbon-imprint way), and an affable fellow all around, Rudd chatted about his album, working with the two fellows that will share the stage with him, whether or not Rodrigo and Gabriela could beat David Bowie in a fight, and how he’s a big fan of MEGADETH, TOOL, and metal in general.
