Description
Darwin Green has worked in the entertainment industry since 2002, starting as a Post-PA on films Bulletproof Monk, I Heart Huckabees, and Ask the Dust, all with film editor Robert K. Lambert. On the film "I Heart Huckabees" he spent many hours with writer/director David O. Russell learning about the art of directing, and on "Ask the Dust" he spent over a year learning about writing screenplays with legendary writer Robert Towne (Chinatown, Mission Impossible). Working his way up from the mailroom, he landed a desk at CAA in the Library-Story department, adding to his knowledge of the entertainment industry. He also cowrote a book proposal and two television pilots with "The Daily Show" co-creator Madeleine Smithberg. Darwin turned his attention to songwriting and music journalism, both long-time passions, writing songs lyrics for Lalaine Paras of Lizzie Macguire fame and British pop star James Bourne, and worked for CWG Magazine as it's first Senior Editor. Darwin currently contributes articles for Release List.
